Dr. Kokab&#8217;s study demonstrated the use of lytic bacteriophages, viruses that specifically target and destroy bacteria, in reducing Salmonella contamination on chicken breast cuts\u2014a major concern for food safety and public health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-pale-ocean-gradient-background has-background wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dr. Aleena Kokab expressed her gratitude, <em>\u201cI am deeply honored to have received this recognition for my work. The use of bacteriophages offers a safer and more environmentally friendly method to control bacterial contamination in poultry, aligning with the industry&#8217;s focus on sustainable practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/lahore-international-expo-centre\/6th-poultry-science-2024\/2176921472701596\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Poultry Science Conference 2024<\/a>, hosted by the Pakistan Poultry Association in collaboration with UVAS, is a key event in the industry, bringing together researchers, academics, and professionals to discuss innovations in poultry science.
