The sector contributes significantly to the national economy, food security, and rural livelihoods.\n      <\/p>\n      <div class=\"chips\">\n        <span class=\"chip\">3 Buffalo Breeds<\/span>\n        <span class=\"chip\">11 Cattle Breeds<\/span>\n        <span class=\"chip\">35 Goat Breeds<\/span>\n        <span class=\"chip\">28 Sheep Breeds<\/span>\n        <span class=\"chip\">20 Camel Breeds<\/span>\n        <span class=\"chip\">Indigenous &amp; Commercial Poultry<\/span>\n      <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n\n    <section class=\"section accent-3\">\n      <h2>Growth Trends in Livestock<\/h2>\n      <div class=\"highlight\">\n        <p><strong>According to recent statistics:<\/strong><\/p>\n        <ul>\n          <li><strong>Cattle<\/strong> population rose from 55.4 million (2022\u201323) to 59.7 million (2024\u201325)<\/li>\n          <li><strong>Buffaloes<\/strong> increased from 45.0 to 47.7 million<\/li>\n          <li><strong>Goats<\/strong> grew from 84.7 to 89.4 million<\/li>\n          <li><strong>Sheep<\/strong> increased from 32.3 to 33.1 million<\/li>\n        <\/ul>\n        <p>\n          Camels, horses, asses, and mules remained relatively stable, reflecting their niche role in transport and drought conditions.
