This marks Pakistan\u2019s first-ever successful genetic-level detection of <em>Toxoplasma gondii<\/em> in goat milk, establishing a major milestone in national veterinary and public health research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The findings raise important public health concerns, particulalrly for consumers of raw goat milk and pregnant women, as <em>Toxoplasma gondii<\/em> infection can cause serious complications, including miscarriages and congenital abnormalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Khan collaborated with an international team of researchers from two leading Italian universities and one in Norway.
