The standout factor was a powerful <strong>jump of over 50% in basmati exports<\/strong>, which significantly boosted the country\u2019s global standing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Top Global Destinations for Pakistani Rice<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>United Arab Emirates<\/strong> remained Pakistan\u2019s largest market, importing <strong>74,897 tonnes<\/strong>, including <strong>16,850 tonnes of basmati<\/strong>. Other major destinations <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Top Global Destinations for Pakistani Rice<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>United Arab Emirates<\/strong> remained Pakistan\u2019s leading market, importing <strong>74,897 tonnes<\/strong>, including <strong>16,850 tonnes of basmati<\/strong>.<br>China followed closely with <strong>74,685 tonnes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other major markets included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tanzania<\/strong> \u2014 62,900 tonnes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Kenya<\/strong> \u2014 60,300 tonnes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ivory Coast<\/strong> \u2014 41,700 tonnes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Guinea-Bissau<\/strong> \u2014 31,850 tonnes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Malaysia<\/strong> \u2014 23,930 tonnes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Madagascar<\/strong> \u2014 17,800 tonnes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Kazakhstan<\/strong> \u2014 17,050 tonnes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Saudi Arabia<\/strong> \u2014 16,032 tonnes <em>(including 5,350 tonnes basmati)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>EU &amp; UK (combined)<\/strong> \u2014 21,100 tonnes <em>(15,600 tonnes basmati)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Smaller volumes were also shipped to <strong>Oman, the United States, and Canada<\/strong>, showing consistent growth across multiple regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rapidly Rising Demand in Central Asia, <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A major structural shift observed in December was the <strong>rapid expansion of direct exports to Central Asia<\/strong>.<br>Previously, most rice shipments to the region moved indirectly through Afghanistan.
