Addressing this growing threat requires coordinated action, innovation, and strong engagement from the next generation of professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this context, the <strong>Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)<\/strong>, in collaboration with the <strong>RENOfarm Initiative<\/strong>, has announced an upcoming online session under the <strong>Knowledge Dissemination Dialogues on AMR<\/strong> webinar series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Webinar Details<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Series:<\/strong> RENOfarm Webinar Series<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Date:<\/strong> 12 February 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Time:<\/strong> 15:00\u201316:00 (CET)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Webinar Theme<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Youth in ACTion: Raising Awareness and Advocacy on Food Safety and Foodborne AMR in Nepal<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The webinar will focus on the increasingly important role of <strong>youth and young professionals<\/strong> in raising awareness, advocating for safer food systems, and tackling <strong>foodborne antimicrobial resistance (AMR)<\/strong>. Special attention will be given to youth-led initiatives, community engagement, and policy-relevant actions within the context of <strong>Nepal<\/strong>, offering insights that are relevant to other low- and middle-income countries as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Speaker and Moderator<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Speaker:<\/strong> Prasun Subedi (FAO)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Moderator:<\/strong> Daniela Battaglia (FAO)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the RENOfarm Webinar Series<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>RENOfarm Webinar Series<\/strong> is a data-driven, bimonthly knowledge-sharing platform held on the <strong>second Thursday and fourth Tuesday of each month<\/strong>. The series is jointly organized by the <strong>FAO AMR Working Group<\/strong> and the <strong>FAO Sustainable Livestock Technical Network<\/strong>, under the FAO-led <strong>RENOfarm Initiative<\/strong>, with partial financial support from the <strong>Republic of Korea through the FAO ACT Project<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The webinars aim to keep researchers, policymakers, veterinarians, and agri-food professionals informed about the latest <strong>scientific, technical, and policy developments related to AMR<\/strong>, particularly within the <strong>food and agriculture sectors<\/strong>. Covered disciplines include microbiology, epidemiology, environmental and behavioral sciences, plant and animal production and health, animal nutrition, and animal welfare.
