During his professional career, he has held several senior positions in the department and has contributed significantly to livestock research, disease control and institutional development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Role in FMD Control in Punjab<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr Sajjad Hussain is playing an important role in Punjab&#8217;s Foot and Mouth Disease control programme. His involvement in research, disease surveillance and livestock health initiatives has contributed to efforts aimed at controlling one of the most economically important diseases affecting livestock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contributions to Veterinary Research<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr Sajjad Hussain has also served as Director of the Veterinary Research Institute, where he contributed to veterinary research, disease control programmes and the strengthening of scientific activities related to animal health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His experience in veterinary research and livestock disease management has made him an important professional figure within Punjab&#8217;s livestock sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Leadership at LPRI Bahadurnagar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr Sajjad Hussain also served as Director of the Livestock Production Research Institute Bahadurnagar.
