The company described the acquisition as part of its long-term commitment to the Iberian poultry market.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nThe transaction builds on a longstanding commercial relationship between Hendrix Genetics and Pintobar. The two companies have worked together for years in supplying egg and poultry producers with genetics and technical support. Hendrix Genetics said bringing Pintobar fully into the group is expected to strengthen operational continuity, customer service and security of supply across the region.\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size: 19px; font-weight: 700; color: #17365d; margin-top: 28px;\">\nPintobar brings breeder, hatching egg and hatchery capacity\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nFounded in <strong>1982<\/strong>, with roots in poultry production extending back to the 1960s, Pintobar operates \n<strong>breeder-rearing facilities, hatching egg production farms and hatcheries<\/strong>. Its operations supply poultry customers in Portugal as well as international markets.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nThe company has built its business around poultry production, technical expertise and supply reliability, supported by continued investment in production technology and an experienced workforce.\n<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"padding: 14px 18px; background: #f5f5f5; border-left: 4px solid #17365d;\">\n<strong>Key transaction background:<\/strong><br>\nPintobar generates annual revenue of approximately <strong>\u20ac20 million<\/strong> and employs around <strong>125 people<\/strong>, according to the Hendrix Genetics press release.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nHendrix Genetics said Pintobar&#8217;s existing leadership team and employees will remain integral to the business during the integration process, with operations, technical services and product supply continuing without interruption.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\n<strong>Pelayo Casanovas<\/strong>, Managing Director of the Layers &amp; Broilers Business Unit at Hendrix Genetics, described Pintobar as a long-standing and trusted partner and said the acquisition reinforces the company&#8217;s commitment to customers across the Iberian region.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nHe said the combined business would continue investing in \n<strong>people, production and innovation<\/strong> to support the long-term performance of poultry producers.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\n<strong>Eduardo Fraga<\/strong>, General Manager of Pintobar, said joining Hendrix Genetics represents an important next step for the company and creates new opportunities for employees, customers and business partners while preserving the expertise and values developed by Pintobar over several decades.\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size: 19px; font-weight: 700; color: #17365d; margin-top: 28px;\">\nA broader genetics platform\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\nHendrix Genetics is a Netherlands-based multi-species animal breeding, genetics and technology company.
