Burewala, The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) Sub-Campus Burewala has officially launched a multidisciplinary four-year degree program leading to a B.Sc (Hons) in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. This program, developed in collaboration with the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Burewala, is set to enhance the nutritional status of the community through cutting-edge research, educational activities, and professional training.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed on April 2, 2024, between UAF Sub-Campus Burewala and THQ Hospital Burewala, marking the commencement of this significant academic initiative. Dr. Sajid Mahmood Nadeem, Principal of UAF Sub-Campus Burewala, and Dr. Sadaf Shakoor, Coordinator for the Human Nutrition and Dietetics (HND) program, alongside the Medical Superintendent of THQ Hospital, were present at the signing ceremony. The CEO of the Health Authority Vehari also endorsed the agreement.
