Task Force on Higher Education Reforms Submits Report

ISLAMABAD (August 10, 2024) — The Task Force on Higher Education Reforms, established on May 31, 2024, has successfully submitted its report to the concerned authorities, marking a significant step forward in enhancing Pakistan’s higher education sector.

     The task force, constituted by the Executive Director of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), comprised distinguished members from various esteemed institutions. The team was led by Prof. Dr. Anwar-ul-Hassan Gilani, Consultant (Policy, Research & Innovation) at HEC Islamabad, and included the following members:

The task force headed by Prof. Dr. Anwar Ul Hasan Gilani was tasked with identifying and addressing the major challenges facing Pakistan’s higher education sector. The report, compiled after four weeks of rigorous analysis, is expected to outline comprehensive solutions to these challenges.
