(Bahawalpur)π¦ π Antimicrobial Resistance Week was celebrated under the aegis of the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. An awareness walk was organized in connection with this World AMR Awareness Week, which lasted from November 18 to 24. This initiative was the result of an understanding and collaboration between the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, the National Institute of Health Islamabad, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, and The Fleming Fund (UK). The main theme of the event was Anti-Microbial Resistance Together, i.e., achieving resistance and protection against microbial pathogens through collaboration. Dean Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khalid Mansoor presided over the walk, along with chairpersons, faculty members, and students of various departments of the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences.
