BEIJING, August 24, 2024 — A groundbreaking development in Pakistan’s agricultural sector has taken place with the arrival of the first-ever shipment of Chinese white broiler eggs. This historic consignment, facilitated by Arslan Poultry (Pvt) Ltd (APPL) of Rawalpindi, marks a significant milestone in the partnership between China and Pakistan’s poultry industries.

The “Guangming No. 2” breed, renowned for its rapid growth, high survival rate, and efficient feed-to-weight ratio, is set to transform Pakistan’s poultry industry. With these 172,800 hatching eggs, we expect to produce over 50,000 parent broilers within 21 days, resulting in more than 7 million commercial broilers, equating to over 21,000 tons of chicken.

For decades, the global market for white-feathered broiler breeders has been dominated by European and American companies. China’s breakthrough with the “Guangming No. 2” positions it as a new leader in the industry.

The import, facilitated by Arslan Poultry (Pvt) Ltd (APPL) of Rawalpindi, represents a significant development in Pakistan’s poultry sector. Arsalan Poultry Farm, led by CEO Mian Muhammad Aslam, a prominent figure with forty years of experience and a former member of the National Assembly and Naib Ameer Jamaat E Islami Pakistan, spearheaded this initiative.
