Lahore: Prof. Dr. Masood Rabbani, recipient of the prestigious Izaz-e-Fazilat, has been appointed as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore. His appointment is being seen as an important development for veterinary education, research, institutional growth, and scientific leadership in Pakistan.

Prof. Dr. Masood Rabbani is a highly respected academician and currently serves as Professor Emeritus at UVAS. He has a long and distinguished career in veterinary education, research, disease diagnostics, food safety, and academic administration.

Over the years, he has held several important academic and administrative positions, including Vice Chancellor of UVAS, Lahore, Vice Chancellor of Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (CUVAS), Bahawalpur, Pro Vice Chancellor, Dean, Faculty of Veterinary Science, and Chairman, Department of Microbiology.
