Chinese Robotic Technology for Pakistan Farms and Garment Factories

Agriculture and garment manufacturing, two traditional economic pillars in Pakistan, face increasing pressure from low productivity, uneven product quality, and rising operational costs. Exhibitors at the 2026 World Robot Conference highlighted that Chinese robotic solutions hold strong potential to address these challenges and modernize Pakistani industries.

GC Robotics showcased its intelligent crop inspection robot. Built for round the clock unattended operation across fields reaching 66 hectares per unit, the machine uses multispectral sensors and artificial intelligence to automatically identify plant pests and crop diseases. Company leadership confirmed that after successful rollouts in Southeast Asia and Australia, South Asian agricultural markets are a primary target.

Vizum presented an automated harvesting robot powered by binocular line laser 3D cameras and spatial recognition algorithms. The system calculates precise grip positioning to pick fruits gently and place them into an onboard storage container. While currently harvesting apples, tomatoes, and jujubes, developers confirmed the system can adapt to harvest Pakistani mango orchards.

In the apparel sector, Jack Technology displayed the Aitu humanoid sewing robot workstation. Working alongside automated template machinery, the robot solves labor shortages and eliminates steep operator training curves. Equipped with advanced AI vision, the machine accurately identifies, aligns, and sews flexible fabrics, automating intricate tasks such as pocket attachment and fabric feeding. The manufacturer plans to deploy these robotic workstations across major garment producing hubs including Pakistan.
