According to the company’s statement, Basharat Ahmed Malik and Huzaifa Malik held bilateral meetings with Chinese business representatives and signed multiple MoUs covering proposed projects and commercial cooperation.

Pakistan-China Conference Reports About $850m in Deals
Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal said the two-day conference was expected to generate around US$850 million through 16 agreements and 80 MoUs. Published reports placed the value of commercial contracts at about US$600 million and MoUs at about US$250 million. These totals represent the conference-wide outcome, not Huzaifa International’s individual agreements.
The official Government of Pakistan announcement said more than 450 companies had been mapped for participation, including over 300 Pakistani firms and around 150 Chinese industrial groups.
The event was organised and facilitated by the Ministry of National Health Services, Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan and Board of Investment, with facilitation support from the Special Investment Facilitation Council.
Priority areas included active pharmaceutical ingredients, generic formulations, medical devices, clinical research, herbal and nutraceutical products, and biotechnology products and vaccines for both human and veterinary use. For Pakistan’s livestock and poultry sectors, this creates potential pathways for local vaccine production, technology transfer, contract manufacturing and improved access to animal-health products.
Huzaifa International’s Animal-Health Portfolio
Huzaifa International describes itself as an importer and distributor of veterinary medicines, livestock and poultry vaccines, feed supplements, toxin binders, disinfectants, pet food and pet vaccines. The company says it was established in 2000, is headquartered in Sargodha and operates nationwide distribution and cold-chain facilities.
Huzaifa International’s website lists Chinese companies including Shandong Soocom Biotechnology and Jilin Zhengye Biological Products among its existing partners. Their inclusion on the company website does not confirm that either company signed the new Islamabad MoUs.
