IDF’s technical work further spans areas such as animal health & welfare, innovation & technology, economy & resilience, environment & nature, farm management, food standards, hygiene & safety, marketing, and methods of analysis & sampling.

Who Are IDF’s Stakeholders?

IDF is a member-driven organization. Membership is held at the country level, and each member country is represented by a National Committee that brings together:

  • Dairy farmers and producers
  • Cooperatives and processors
  • Dairy companies and industry associations
  • Universities, researchers and technical institutes
  • Laboratories and analytical experts
  • Regulators, public authorities and standards bodies

Through these committees, IDF channels national expertise into global consensus, and then brings international guidance back to national dairy sectors.
