Lahore (December 14): Punjab Wildlife Department intensified enforcement against illegal hunting and trade, arresting seven individuals and imposing fines of nearly PKR 400,000 in separate operations across Lahore and Attock.

Two suspects were arrested, and legal action was initiated.
In another operation in Attock, wildlife officials apprehended five individuals involved in illegal partridge hunting, seizing 13 slaughtered partridges and three firearms. The Punjab Wildlife Department reaffirmed its commitment to strict action against wildlife crimes to protect biodiversity and ecological balance.
