The Planning Commission of Pakistan organized the National Dairy Conference on Attracting Investment to Enhance Exports on February 4, 2026, at the P-Block Auditorium, Pak Secretariat, Islamabad.

Experts emphasized that bridging the productivity gap is essential to making Pakistan competitive in regional and global dairy markets.
The event was chaired by the Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Professor Ahsan Iqbal, and facilitated by Dr. Mubarik Ali, Member Planning Commission (Agriculture & Food Security). Senior government officials, dairy experts, corporate leaders, and farmer representatives shared insights on investment potential, export-oriented growth, technology adoption, and policy reforms.
Key discussions focused on enhancing dairy productivity, strengthening the value chain, promoting modern breeding technologies, and creating an enabling environment for public and private sector investment, in line with URAAN Pakistan’s export-led growth vision.
The conference concluded with a strong commitment to policy coordination, stakeholder engagement, and long-term reforms to unlock Pakistan’s vast dairy export potential.
