In a landmark achievement for Pakistan’s poultry sector, Noor Poultry Farms Pvt Ltd has become the first company in the country to export table eggs to Africa, successfully shipping to Somalia and Mauritania earlier this year.
According to Mr. Sohail Ahmed, Chief Operating Officer at Noor Poultry, the company initiated exports in March 2025, and is simultaneously supplying eggs to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
“We are proud to be the first to open the African egg market to Pakistan,” said Mr. Ahmed while speaking to Asian Agribiz. “We’re confident that more countries in Central and West Africa will follow soon.”
In line with rising demand for functional food products, Noor Poultry is preparing to launch value-added Omega-3 Plus enriched eggs in the UAE starting July 2025.
With a current production capacity of 1 million eggs per day, the company has laid out ambitious plans to expand to 4 million eggs per day by 2028. Noor Poultry markets its premium range under the EggVita brand, which includes nutritionally enriched variants such as Omega-3, DHA, Selenium, and Vitamin D.
This strategic expansion reflects Noor Poultry’s commitment to quality, innovation, and global market development, positioning Pakistan as a credible supplier in international egg trade.
