Pakistani Delegation Visits AgroNord Dairy Genetics Show, Signs Landmark Agreement

A Pakistani delegation recently participated in the AgroNord Dairy Genetics and Animal Show in Denmark on March 5th, where industry leaders and experts gathered to discuss advancements in livestock breeding. The event featured top-tier dairy genetics, with a VikingGenetics cow securing the championship title for the second consecutive year. Representing Pakistan, Dr. Muhammad Asad Ullah Khan, Director of Research and Development at Al-Shaafi Animal Health, engaged in key discussions on enhancing dairy and beef genetics.

During the visit, Al-Shaafi Animal Health signed an exclusive partnership agreement with VikingGenetics, making it the official licensed distributor of VikingGenetics in Pakistan. The contract was formally signed by Dr. Muhammad Asad Ullah Khan and Mr. Leonardo David (Export Manager, VikingGenetics), with the endorsement of Ms. Lone Kousted (Global Head of Distribution Sales, VikingGenetics) and Mr. Dennis (Export Sales Manager, VikingGenetics). This collaboration aims to bring superior dairy and beef genetics to Pakistan, improving herd productivity and sustainability.

The agreement is expected to significantly impact Pakistan’s livestock industry, providing farmers with access to world-class genetics that can enhance milk production, fertility rates, and overall herd health.
