The event brought together key leadership from Pakistan’s three major chambers — RCCI, ICCI and FPCCI — along with prominent representatives of the national business community.
The session was hosted by Shoaib Amjad, Vice Chairman North of the Pakistan Veterinary Pharmaceutical Association (PVPA), who presented a comprehensive national vision for transforming Pakistan’s veterinary pharmaceutical sector into a globally competitive, export-oriented industry.
Pakistan’s veterinary pharmaceutical sector is entering a major policy shift, driven by a quality-focused, export-oriented approach. Shoaib Amjad announced that Pakistan is now preparing to participate in major international exhibitions through a dedicated Pakistan Veterinary Pharma Pavilion.
Pakistan is transitioning from a domestic-focused veterinary pharmaceutical market to an export-driven, globally recognized industry — with a firm commitment to participate in leading events such as VIV Worldwide and other major international exhibitions.
Pakistan is preparing a unified presence at global exhibitions in Africa, Europe, the Middle East, China and Bangkok under a dedicated Pakistan Pavilion, showcasing national capabilities in animal health, livestock, poultry, aquaculture and veterinary pharmaceuticals.
Pakistan’s veterinary pharmaceutical value chain holds strong potential to become a low-cost, high-potential export supplier, especially as global markets increasingly seek reliable and competitively priced animal health products.
By participating consistently in top-tier exhibitions across Europe, China, the GCC, Turkey and Southeast Asia, Pakistan aims to strengthen its global visibility and market credibility.
“Pakistan is ready to participate in VIV and other premier international exhibitions with a dedicated Pakistan Pavilion.
Our goal is to showcase Pakistan’s veterinary pharmaceutical, livestock and animal health capacity on the world stage and align our industry with global standards and export opportunities.”
— Shoaib Amjad, Vice Chairman North (PVPA)
PVPA is the first national organization to unify manufacturers, distributors, traders and importers under one platform — enabling structured international engagement, regulatory enhancement and coordinated export expansion.
Leadership of RCCI, ICCI, and FPCCI endorsed this shift, expressing complete support for PVPA’s export-oriented direction.
Invitation to Global Event Organisers
PVPA has initiated discussions with leading international exhibition organisers, including
VIV Worldwide,
for collaboration on Pakistan-branded pavilions at future events.
Through the International Veterinary Pharma Expo (IVP) in Pakistan, PVPA plans to host global organisers, investors and industry partners to establish long-term strategic linkages.
These collaborations are expected to accelerate Pakistan’s transition toward an export-oriented veterinary pharmaceutical sector, enhance credibility, and open new trade corridors across multiple global regions.
