Prof. Dr. Nasim Ahmad served as the Vice-Chancellor of UVAS for four years. The ceremony was a symbolic salute to his four years of exemplary leadership and accomplishments, blending gratitude, nostalgia, and well-wishing.
During his time at UVAS, Prof. Dr. Nasim Ahmad’s innovative leadership and unshakable dedication have lighted the academic arena. His significant contributions are demonstrated by the revolutionary projects and scholarly advancements that have driven the university toward expansion and success. Prof. Dr. Nasim Ahmad is regarded as a notable member of the academic community due to his dedication to promoting an innovative and learning-oriented culture at UVAS.
As the First Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Director of ORIC at UVAS, he shaped the institution’s destiny and steered it toward academic excellence and innovation. His multifaceted roles, including Dean of Faculties and Chairman of Departments, became pivotal in pioneering UVAS into new horizons. Prof. Dr. Nasim Ahmad’s journey is adorned with accolades, including the prestigious “PARC Scientist of the Year: 1999,” the Best University Teacher Award in 2007 from HEC, and the esteemed Sitara-e-Imtiaz in 2008—a Presidential Civil Award.
