A series of clinical, outreach, and extension trainings is being organized by the Department of Clinical Sciences for DVM students of CVAS Jhang. The current community services session was conducted in a village, located in Satiana, District Jhang. Dr. Mubbashar Hassan and Abdul Mateen, faculty members, organized the excursion. The local representative warmly welcomed the faculty and students. The local farmers were briefed about various diseases & issues regarding animal health and production.
Teams of students completed a large-scale clinical and practical exercise. A large number of animals were processed for ultrasonography, vaccinated/dewormed, examined, and treated against various contagious, infectious, and non-infectious diseases (pics attached). The students availed of valuable collaborative clinical activity during this training, and organizers pay special thanks to the Vet Crescent Society (significant contribution), Vets Care Society, pharmaceutical companies, as well as Meritorious Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus (DLA.I, T.I) Pro-Vice Chancellor/Vice Chancellor; Prof. Dr. Nasim Ahmad (S.I.); Dean, Faculty of Veterinary Science (acting/current/look after); and Principal, CVAS, Jhang, for patronage, approval, and supporting this valuable clinical and learning activity.
