The summit coincided with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s visit to China for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit and the September 3 commemoration. Addressing the forum, the Prime Minister — who was accompanied by Pakistan’s largest-ever business delegation — urged Chinese investors to expand in Pakistan’s agriculture, IT, and AI sectors.
“Pakistan is everyone’s second home, just like China is my second home,” the Prime Minister said, pledging full security, business facilitation, and cabinet-level support under the “CPEC 2.0 upgrade.”
