Lahore, April 14, 2026: The Government of the Punjab, Services and General Administration Department, has issued a notification regarding two important postings in the Livestock Department. According to the official order, Dr. Muhammad Anees (APVO / BS-19), Director Livestock, Gujranwala, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Director Livestock, Gujrat Division (BS-20) in addition to his own duties. The arrangement will remain effective for three months or until the arrival of a regular incumbent, whichever is earlier.

In a separate order issued through the same notification, Dr. Sohail Manzoor (APVO / BS-19), Additional Director Livestock, Chakwal, has been transferred with immediate effect and posted as Director Breed Improvement (BS-20), Punjab, Lahore. The notification states that he has been appointed vice Dr. Wajid Arshad Khan, who has been transferred. The notification was issued by order of the Governor of Punjab and signed under the authority of the Chief Secretary Punjab, Zahid Akhtar Zaman.
