The visit reflects TDAP’s proactive efforts to strengthen Pakistan’s processed food and halal meat exports through collaboration with international trade bodies. Several new trade linkages and MoUs are underway with Gulf and ASEAN countries, including Malaysia and Saudi Arabia, to expand Pakistan’s export footprint in the global halal meat industry.
Operating since 2006, Hamza Halal Food has been exporting chilled and frozen beef and mutton to various destinations, maintaining a strong commitment to hygiene and quality. The company holds globally recognized certifications — ISO 22000:2018, ISO 9001:2015, HACCP Traceability and International Halal Certificate — enabling exports to UAE, GCC nations, Iran, Bahrain, Oman, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan. HHF is now targeting emerging markets such as Malaysia and Saudi Arabia.
With a modern slaughterhouse at its Budhni Road facility, Hamza Halal Food demonstrates how small-scale enterprises from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are driving Pakistan’s halal export sector.
