Sample Submission

Samples may be submitted directly to the Department of Pathology laboratory. All samples should be accompanied by complete case history, vaccination record, farm information and clinical observations. Maintain appropriate cold chain where required.

1. Collect Sample

Collect the appropriate biological sample according to the disease condition and species involved.

2. Maintain Cold Chain

Ensure proper storage and transportation conditions, especially for serum, tissue, swabs and other sensitive samples.

3. Fill Submission Form

Provide complete case history, vaccination details, farm information and clinical observations.

4. Submit Laboratory Request

Submit the sample with required documentation to the Department of Pathology laboratory.

5. Laboratory Testing

The laboratory processes and examines the submitted sample using appropriate diagnostic methods.

6. Receive Report

Obtain the laboratory report for diagnosis, treatment planning and farm-level disease control decisions.
