
A significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) and the Halal Research Center of Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, to promote mutual cooperation in Halal research.

It aims to foster collaboration in Halal research, scientific exchange, academic and research activities, and joint work on emerging trends in Halal food systems.
The signing ceremony took place on the occasion of the Thailand Halal Assembly 2025, where representatives from both institutions exchanged documents. This partnership is expected to create new opportunities in Halal food science, ingredient testing, certification, and research aligned with global standards.
