Overview

The Ministry of National Food Security & Research is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the establishment of the Federal Project Management Unit (FPMU) under the PSDP project titled “National Program for Animal Disease Surveillance, FMD and PPR Control, and Animal Track and Traceability – in Compliance with National and International Standards.”

The program aims to strengthen animal disease control systems, support FMD and PPR control efforts, and establish a national animal traceability system aligned with national and international standards.

1. Project Director

Scale: PPS-10

No. of Posts: 1

Age Limit: 40 to 62 Years

DVM or equivalent degree is mandatory
Master’s or PhD in Epidemiology, Veterinary Epidemiology, Public Health, or related field
Veterinary or Public Health qualification will be an added advantage
MBA, Master’s in Project Management, or MPA will be preferred
Minimum 15 years of professional experience in the relevant field
Proven experience in managing and coordinating large-scale programs, preferably in animal health or public health sector

2. Program Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

Scale: PPS-08

No. of Posts: 1

Age Limit: 30 to 45 Years

Master’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation roles
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in development programs, public policy, or non-profit organizations

3. Admin Cum Accounts Officer

Scale: PPS-07

Age Limit: 25 to 35 Years

Bachelor’s degree in Accounts, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in program or project management environment

4. Procurement Officer

Scale: PPS-07

No. of Posts: 1

Age Limit: 25 to 35 Years

Minimum 16 years of education
Degree in Economics, Management Sciences, Commerce, or Social Science
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills required
At least 2 years of relevant experience in procurement and contracting operations

5. Office Assistant

Scale: PPS-06

No. of Posts: 1

Age Limit: 25 to 35 Years

Graduation with relevant skills
Minimum 2 years of office work experience
Public sector experience will be preferred

Important Conditions and Requirements

The appointment will be made purely on contract basis for two years, extendable or till the project life, whichever is earlier.
