Exercising his powers, Dr Sajjad Hussain, Director General (Research) and Provincial Controller General Prices, has notified the revised ex-mill and maximum retail prices for starter, grower and finisher feeds, effective immediately.

The notification will remain in force for 15 days and will continue to be effective until the next meeting of the committee. All Deputy Commissioners and Price Magistrates have been directed to ensure strict implementation of the notified rates and to prevent any overcharging by retailers or suppliers.

All feed dealers and shopkeepers are required to display the official rate list at a clearly visible place at their outlets. Poultry feed manufacturing companies have also been reminded of their obligation under Section 11 of the Punjab Consumer Protection Act 2005 to provide complete details of feed ingredients on the product packaging.
