Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!The World’s Poultry Science Association (WPSA) Pakistan Chapter, under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Mian Sohaib Javaid (President WPSA Pakistan & CEO, Jadeed Group of Companies), has taken a significant step in supporting academic research by donating essential laboratory ventilation equipment to the University of Karachi.
The official handover ceremony was held 14 July 2025, where Prof. Dr. Taseer Ahmad graciously received the equipment on behalf of the university. This valuable initiative was facilitated upon the recommendation of Dr. Farhan Farooq, Secretary General, WPSA Pakistan, emphasizing the association’s commitment to enhancing research capacities within academic institutions.
Key WPSA South Zone executives were present at the meatig, including Mr. Waqar Alam (President, WPSA South Zone), Dr. Nasir Mukhtar (Director, R&D), Mr. Shehryar (Secretary General, South Zone), and Dr. Aftab (Area Manager, Jadeed Group of Companies).
During the meeting, it was mutually agreed that WPSA Pakistan and the University of Karachi will jointly organize the Karachi Poultry Science Conference in November 2025. This collaboration is set to foster stronger ties between academia and the poultry industry, paving the way for innovative research and knowledge sharing.
