ICCBS, University of Karachi, identifies Prof. Dr. Muhammad Raza Shah as a leading scientist in nanotechnology, materials science, nanomedicine and targeted drug-delivery systems, and as the UNESCO Chair holder in Medicinal and Bio-organic Natural Product Chemistry.

The ICCBS UNESCO profile states that he has published more than 530 research articles, authored seven books and holds multiple US patents.

DRAP lists Dr. Obaidullah as its Chief Executive Officer. His profile is relevant to VNV because DRAP’s mandate includes evaluation, assessment and registration of pharmaceutical and biological products for veterinary use, in addition to human therapeutic goods.

University of Maryland School of Medicine says Dr. Mohiuddin has worked in xenotransplantation research since 1991 and has devoted his career to the field. His work includes genetically engineered pig-to-human cardiac xenotransplantation, immunosuppression and large-animal transplantation models.

His university profile records more than 120 papers and 150 abstracts and says his research led to the first genetically engineered pig-to-human cardiac xenotransplant in January 2022, followed by a second procedure in September 2023.

Allama Iqbal Open University lists Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood as Vice Chancellor. His institutional profile reports more than 25 years of experience in education, over 60 research projects or grants, and 57 peer-reviewed research papers. His teaching has included research methods, educational psychology and quantitative data analysis.
